Andris began his career in ’94 as a programmer, developing software systems for the Latvian Government’s information services, working with C programming language and MS Access DB.
In ’97, Andris entered the Banking industry as a senior developer, working at Hansabanka (now Swedbank) and developing the SWIFT Payments automation platform, using Powerbuilder, Informix, and C/C++. He was later promoted to the Chief Architect’s role for Data Warehouse and SWIFT Payments automation platform. He led a team of 5 junior developers on this project.
In ’01, Andris joined Baltikums Bank (now BluOr Bank) as a Head of IT, responsible for managing strategically important IT development projects for the bank. Among the most notable projects are:
– Building the new Core Banking infrastructure, based on “THE WALL” software.
– Developing infrastructure for the bank’s digital services, including Internet Banking, PC Banking, CRM and SWIFT systems.
– Developing enterprise-wide infrastructure for Intalio BPMS and Document Management System.
In ’11, Andris joined D8 Corporation as a Business Analyst, responsible for performing complex business/technical analyses for D8 integration projects all over the world. In ’17, Andris was promoted to the Product Owner’s role for the StrongHold Fraud Prevention Platform.
Since ’17, Andris is serving as StrongHold Fraud Prevention Platform Product Owner, managing a team of 10 senior developers and architects on a daily basis, in order to develop StrongHold into world-class risk analytics platform.
